SMS Consent & Messaging Policy
Last Updated: March 3, 2026
KaiCalls is an automated phone answering and follow-up platform used by businesses to communicate with customers who have already contacted them. Messages are sent only after a customer initiates contact with the business through a phone call or website form. This page explains how we use SMS messaging, how you can opt-in to receive messages, what types of messages you will receive, and how to opt-out at any time.
1. What Messages You Will Receive
When you opt-in to receive SMS messages from KaiCalls or one of our clients' automated phone systems, you may receive:
- Missed call notifications — a text letting you know we missed your call and how to reach us
- Appointment confirmations & reminders — details about upcoming scheduled calls or meetings
- Follow-up messages — information related to your inquiry or the service you requested
- Customer care messages — support responses and account-related updates
Message frequency varies. Typically 1–5 messages per month depending on your interaction with our services.
2. How You Opt-In
You may consent to receive SMS messages from KaiCalls through any of the following methods:
- Web forms — by checking the SMS consent checkbox on the KaiCalls contact form at kaicalls.com/contact. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is not required to submit the form. Consent is optional and is not a condition of any purchase or service.
- Keyword opt-in — by texting START or SUBSCRIBE to a KaiCalls phone number
- Verbal consent during calls — by agreeing to receive text messages during a recorded phone call with one of our automated assistants. Verbal consent is logged with phone number and timestamp.
All consent is documented with your phone number and a timestamp for compliance purposes. Consent is not transferable and cannot be assigned to third parties.
3. SMS Consent Checkbox (Call to Action)
The following SMS consent checkbox appears on all KaiCalls web forms, including our Contact page, demo request forms, and intake forms on kaicalls.com:
Opt-in as displayed on KaiCalls forms
Users must actively check this box before submitting the form. The checkbox is unchecked by default and is not a condition of using our services or making a purchase. Consent is entirely optional.
4. Where the Opt-In Appears
The SMS consent checkbox described above is displayed on the following pages:
- kaicalls.com/contact — Contact form
Additionally, consent may be collected verbally during recorded phone calls with our AI assistants, where the caller is informed that by providing their phone number, they agree to receive follow-up text messages.
5. How to Opt-Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message you receive from us
- Emailing us at support@kaicalls.com with your phone number and a request to opt out
- Calling us and requesting removal from SMS communications
Once you opt out, you will receive a final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
6. How to Get Help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at support@kaicalls.com.
7. Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. KaiCalls does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may.
8. Supported Carriers
SMS messaging is supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers.
9. Privacy
Your phone number and SMS consent information are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Consent data (phone number, timestamp, method) is retained for TCPA compliance.
